So I never liked Blogger's commenting system, it was weird and wonky and you can;t hardly reply to anyone.......I wouldn't say Disqus is the best because it DOES track cookies so be aware BUT, I feel better being able to moderate my comments, inlcuding anonymous comments which by the way, yes, you can still comment anonymously.
Anyway, Disqus is a better tool for moderating comments and what not, the only draw backs is it being ad supported because I can't afford a premium plan. Someday I will be able to but for now. I'm working with what I got!
EDIT: Okay so I just tested anonymous commenting and unfortunately you HAVE to enter an email and do a captcha. R.I.P. anonymous lurkers on my blog......
The only thing about that is, if you decided to comment as a guest, only I, and other moderators who have access to the disqus account [don't have any rn] will be the only one to see your email. It will not be public and I guess for that reason it makes it easier to block people who may not have the greatest intentions when hiding behind an anonymous account.
EDIT 2: Okay, just one last thought, I think adding Disqus will better help curate my community on this blog especially if I want to make, say for example a little form or make an introduction page and what not. We'll see how it goes!
