Why the name change?

So if you haven't noticed yet, I have changed my name to MarzyDazzle

Why? Well someone started calling me Mars and I just sat there and thought....ya know...I like that. And I like the planet Marz and space themed stuff is cool and I love astrology. So I just changed it. But that's only part of the reason.

The other reason is that the "Lord" in the name was something I put on for self-important reasons. All it did was enable egotism within me. This past year, I went through metamorphosis. Realizing what was truly important, being aware of and shedding problematic behavior, looking in the mirror, and questioning what exactly I wanted in life and why. Just questioning my morals, my beliefs, and why I act a certain way. Took a bit of therapy and whatnot. And so I decided to take the "Lord" out of my name because it genuinely felt off. It didn't feel right after going through what I went through.

Another reason for this, is that I decided that I don't want a sona that looked like me irl to represent me on social media. Having yourself bound to social media like that is taxing on your psyche. That and it's also just for psychological reasons. So my demon-sona, Marzy, will be the stage look. Marzy Dazzle is the stage name. Maru/Marucoatl will be for more personal purposes and the name will be used for my human form. I do all of this so I can have a way to seprate myself from social media and balance my mundane life. Before this, I didn't have a true sense of self that wasn't dependent on social media. So this is my way of breaking those chains.

When I'm out in the mundane world, I want to just feel like me and forget social media for a while when necessary. Because now I know I'm not MarzyDazzle. Marzy is just a doll I like to play with online.
